CHILL & CHAT @ HAWORTH ART GALLERY
Sessions now closed for the winter
Funded by LCC and with kind permission from Haworth Art Gallery & Hyndburn Parks, we invite you to join us on a Monday Morning.
A no pressure group with the intent to offer the chance to meet new people, try new things, explore the area and spend time in nature.
As always, the kettle will be on and a friendly welcome awaits.
Please come dressed for the weather (Indoor space is available in adverse weather)
FRIENDS IN NATURE FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA AND THEIR CARERS
In The Peace Garden at Whalley Abbey
Meeting on Monday Mornings (Not Bank holidays) from 1030am - 12 noon, join us for this session where you have the chance to meet others in similar situations. The Peace Garden at Whalley Abbey invites you to sit and enjoy nature at it's best. The group provides opportunities to spend time in nature, enjoy refreshments and try something new whilst reminiscing on times gone by and the chance to talk to others. The team are on hand to help and a Member of the Team from Ribble Valley Crossroads Care are also there to support you and your loved one. Previously, the pilot scheme was funded by Ribble Valley Dementia Alliance (May - July 2022) and due to it's success (and your feedback) we have just secured additional funding from Ribble Valley District Nurses Association to continue with these sessions.


CAMPFIRE & CONVERSATION
1 - 3pm at Whalley Abbey
We welcome you to join us for this FREE, adult, outdoor session aimed at you and your wellbeing.
Come down and enjoy time in nature, with a brew & the opportunity to chat, meet new people and take time out in beautiful surroundings.
The session is free but donations are always welcome!
Final session before summer is Monday 17th July 2023.
IGHTENHILL CAMPFIRE & CONVERSATION - BURNLEY
Monday's 2-4pm @ Ightenhill Park
Campfire & Conversation is a free drop in session, just for you and your wellbeing.
With Kind permission from the Friends of Ightenhill Park , and funded by LCC, we invite you to come and spend an hour or two in nature with us. Meet new people, wander around the area, chat if you want to... it's up to you!
All are welcome, the fire will be lit and the kettle will be on.

HEADSPACE & GREENSPACE
Tuesdays 10 - 12.30 & 1 - 3.30 at Brinscall Hall, Dick Lane, Brinscall
Using the old kitchen garden at Brinscall Hall this is an ongoing programme designed to improve mental health and wellbeing and build resilience. Funded by Chorley Council and working with Social Prescribers, as well as self-referrals, participants have the opportunity to learn about nature, gardens and gardening, bushcraft, sustainability, campfire cooking, mindfulness and how to think about their lives in a more helpful way. New participants are welcome at any time so please contact us should you or organisation wish to take part in this or other similar projects.
Participants are welcome to stay over lunch and join the afternoon groups too.
GET ACTIVE @ THE ABBEY
Wednesdays 10-12pm at Whalley Abbey, The Sands, Whalley, BB7 9SS
These FREE outdoor sessions are aimed at adults with long term health conditions who want to increase their confidence & mobility outdoors as well as people who want to look after there wellbeing and meet likeminded people. Sessions may include short, guided walks, gentle exercise & activities that encourage movement. Sessions will always finish with a brew!


CAMPFIRE & CONVERSATION @ THE ALLOTMENT
'Guardians of natures' allotment, Penwortham, near PR19HB
We welcome you to join us at Guardians of Nature's Allotment to meet the team, enjoy time in nature, sample our refreshments and find out more about what we do.
Campfire & conversation is a FREE, no pressure, adult, outdoor session just for you and your wellbeing. Come and spend a couple of hours in nature with us. Meet new people, explore the area, chat if you want to... it's up to you!
All are welcome. The fire will be lit and the kettle will be on.
(Donations are welcome towards refreshments but not essential)

GIFT YOUR GEAR DONATIONS
Outdoor Clothing for our Volunteers and Participants
We are excited to announce that we have successfully received another donation of outdoor clothing from Rohan's Gift Your Gear. These will be distributed between our current projects for our participants and volunteers to use when attending our sessions.
